Full extension drawer slides allow the drawer to be fully opened from the cabinet and are most commonly constructed using ball bearings. These bearings allow for a smooth and uniform movement. Full extension drawer slides are rated for 100 pounds.
.Separate the drawer member and the cabinet member of the drawer slide by pressing the black release clip on the inside track of the drawer slide.
.Place the drawer member onto the side of the drawer box. The drawer slide should be placed flush with the front and bottom of the drawer box. Attach the drawer member to the drawer box using 5/8-inch screws and a power drill. Each drawer member should be attached with at least four screws. Install the other drawer box member on the opposite side of the drawer box.
.Place the cabinet member of the full extension drawer slide into the drawer opening of the cabinet. Place the drawer slide at the bottom of the opening, flush with the front of the cabinet. Attach the cabinet member using 5/8-inch screws and a power drill. Install the other cabinet member to the opposite side of the opening.
.Slide the drawer box into the cabinet opening. Align the drawer slides together. Do not force the drawer slide into the cabinet as this may damage the drawer slide.
